The Sauce That Started It All

Doan Hot Sauce begins with a family and a simple idea: sharing good food.

In 1980, Mr. Doan arrived in the Netherlands from Vietnam. Two years later, he reunited with his family and started bringing a piece of home into a new life.

When guests visited, they were served crispy spring rolls with a homemade chili sauce. It was that sauce people kept coming back for.

In 1986, this became the foundation of the first Doan shop.

Today, that same recipe still guides everything we do.
